Thank you for checking out my website!
I am a student pursuing a Master's of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Also working full-time, I am the Communications Coordinator at Evidence for Action (E4A), a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation based at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, I serve as a Research Assistant with Dr. Juliana Cohen's NIH-funded (R01) National School Meal Study, where I support the development of a quantitative database using school meal nutrition data I collected as a Site Manager. I volunteer with Dr. Leah Chapman's team at Women's Health Research and Action Center. You can learn more about these roles under my Experience tab.
I am most interested in advocating and addressing maternal and women’s health inequities, including access to quality care using community-based research, and improving public health systems through communication and evidence-driven solutions.
I thrive when working with others, brainstorming, making inclusive and genuine connections, and being independent. I'm motivated to excel and succeed, and I bring a positive, proactive, problem-solving mindset to my work and environment, resulting in quality and efficiency at every step. I have a proven track record of perceptive communication and approaching situations with a curious mind.
